If...
you understand that faith is a matter of mind as well as heart, and that taking the Bible seriously means it cannot always be taken literally...
you know that God's love embraces all persons equally, no matter their gender, race or sexual identity...
for you ,diversity, tolerance, and inclusivity are strengths to be taught...
you've wished for a more open and embracing community of faith to nurture your spirit, and haven't yet found a like-minded place of belonging
we warmly invite you to join us at
Christ Chapel Metropolitan Community Church
Sunday 10:00 a.m.
For over 40 years we have been proud to be a social justice directed congregation where everyone is welcome. Our faith is based upon the principles outlined in the historic creeds: the Apostles and the Nicene.
We assert that doctrines and beliefs that degrade and denigrate human life, including the belief that homosexuality is sin, explicitly contradict both the law Christ asserted, and the call for social justice and compassion at the heart of His ministry.
